NEWS about Moray Firth Tutorial College

From mid-April, we are making some changes.  MFTC’s full range of tuition services will still be operational, but in a different form.

Our premises in Academy Street are rented and the building due for re-development.  After three successful years here, MFTC needs to move on and its principal, Anni Cole-Hamilton, is taking advantage of the change to enjoy semi-retirement. She will continue to run MFTC’s private tuition, but its group tuition will now be organised by tutors direct.

All classes including Easter Higher Revision Week will continue at Academy Street until 11th April.  Thereafter, MFTC will continue to offer its huge range of private tuition services in clients’ or tutors’ homes, but courses for Adults (e.g. language classes) will be run by their tutors direct in various venues.   Other than venue, Clients requesting private or group tuition will notice little difference in operation!

PRIVATE TUITION is arranged on demand to suit your needs, and most school and many other subjects are available, for all ages and stages.  If you are uncertain about your child’s progress in English and Maths, we also offer excellent and stress-free assessments to guide you.

Particularly popular is our range of courses supporting Highers,  especially Easter Holiday Revision Week (7-11 April).

About us

Moray Firth Tutorial College was established in 1999.  With over 60 well-qualified and carefully checked Tutors on our register, we can offer private tuition or small-group classes for all ages and stages. Most students choose to study with us for an hour or two a week, but our tuition is bespoke and we always try to respond to individual needs.

We are close to Inverness bus and railway stations, and Rose Street Car Park is immediately behind our building. A disabled parking bay is directly outside and we also have limited Blue Badge parking (by request) in our small car park.  As noted above, we leave our current premises week beginning 14th April.
