About Us

Moray Firth Tutorial College was founded in 1999 by its Principal, Anni Cole-Hamilton, and grew very quickly.  While demand is always considerable for school subjects, especially National 5 and Higher examinations, many Adults also request tuition.

Staff

Our staff include school teachers, college or university lecturers, teachers who are recently retired or taking time out to bring up their children; some tutor almost full-time, others accept just one student. Many of our tutors are exam markers or have been involved in syllabus design and planning.  All our tutors must supply excellent references and hold PVG (Disclosure Scotland) certificates. All are well-qualified to teach their particular courses, and take pleasure and pride in their tutoring: we are proud to be associated with them.

Moray Firth School Award

The range of subjects we offer is wide and we can usually find a tutor for what you want to study: our greatest difficulty is employing enough tutors to keep up with demand.

Moray Firth Tutorial College was founded by Anni Cole- Hamilton who worked in education for over three decades, as an English  teacher, school and tutorial college principal.  After 17 years at the helm, Anni decided to retire in June 2016.  From August 2016, Jorge and Anna Salgado took over.  Jorge is well known in Inverness, having built up his Spanish Language Services very successfully: he is also a tutor for the Open University and equally at home teaching adults and children.
